Brick and Aggregate Applications of Barytes
Richard Baker Harrison Ltd market a range of Barytes Bricks and Aggregates within the United Kingdom. The Barytes Bricks are marketed under the Bariwall ® trade name. The Barytes aggregate is graded and packed in either 1 tonne big bags or 25 kilo bags.
The Bariwall Shielding Bricks are produced from high density naturally occurring barium sulphate and are designed for radiation protection in hospitals, research laboratories and factories.
The Barytes aggregate is marketed as either Barytes aggregate or Barytes jointing sand dependant upon the grading of the material. Normally the aggregate is 5 mm down and the sand is 2mm down. Material can however be produced to the customers specifications. The Barytes aggregate and jointing sand can be used to produce Barytes render and Barytes mortar joints which are usually used in conjunction with the Baryte bricks, Barytes aggregate can also be used to produce Barytes screeds.
