Chatelet flint grit is an angular flint obtained by the crushing of sea pebbles from coastal deposits in Northern France. It is produced by SA Eurarco France of Le Crotoy (Somme).
Chatelet Flint Grit is used in filtration operations. Its inertness and chemical resistance offer major advantages. It is also used in the manufacture of industrial floors where its angular shape can impart excellent non-slip characteristics. It is available in a wide range of particle sizes, varying from 0.1 mm to 30 mm.
