Lindride Liquid Anhydrides

The LINDRIDE family of anhydrides are light-coloured liquids of low to moderate viscosity, which find utility as curing agents for epoxy resins.  The Lindride anhydrides comprise several series of similar composition.

Individual Series

Lindride 12 Series are mixtures of isomeric forms of Methyltetrahydrophthalic Anhydride.

Lindride 22 Series are a group of pre-catalysed anhydrides based on Methyl-5-norbornene-2, 3-dicarboxylic Anhydride.

Lindride 32 Series are mixtures of isomeric forms of Methyltetrahydrophthalic Anhydride, specifically formulated to remain free of crystals at temperatures well below ambient.

Lindride 52 Series are a group of anhydrides based on 4-Methylhexahydrophthalic Anhydride.

Lindride 62 Series are a group of anhydride blends based on 4-Methylhexahydrophthalic Anhydride.

LS-81K is a pre-catalysed anhydride based on 4-Methytetrahydrophthalic Anhydride, which has been formulated for use with a standard Bis A or Bis F resins in structural applications where excellent physical properties are required.

LS-682K & LS-684K are precatalysed anhydrides based on 4-Methylhexahydrophthalic Anhydride which have been formulated for use specifically in conjunction with Lindoxy 190, in high Tg pultrusion systems.

LS-252V is a formulated anhydride curing agent designed to be used in conjunction with Lindoxy 190  for high temperature applications requiring high glass transition temperatures and excellent physical properties

LS Semi-solid anhydrides are designed to be used with semi-solid epoxy resins to produce resin systems which are solid at ambient temperature, a putty consistency at application temperature of 50ºC-60ºC, and liquid at 80ºC for impregnation of the reinforcement.

Lindoxy 730/Lindax 11 is a cationic UV cured epoxy resin system which offers a unique alternative method to thermal curing and can result in attractive cured resin properties.

Lindau Chemical Resins

Lindoxy 190 is a non-crystallising low viscosity epoxidised cycloaliphatic resin with an average functionality of 2.  Lindoxy 190 is recommended for use in conjunction with LS-682K in pultrusion applications requiring a high Tg.

Lindoxy 290 is a non-crystallising low viscosity epoxidised phenol novolac resin with an average functionality of 3.  Lindoxy 290 is recommended for use in applications which require high temperature service or excellent chemical resistance.

Lindau Chemicals also manufacture a range of catalysts for use in conjunction with their hardeners:

Lindax 1 is a complex heterocyclic amine recommended for curing epoxy resins.  Optimum properties of such polymers are related to the concentration of Lindax 1.

Lindax 5 is the salt of a reactive tertiary amine, and is designed to be used as promoter for high performance anhydride cured epoxy resin systems.

Lindax 6 is a solution containing 70% BTEAC dissolved in methanol.  Lindax 6 can be used in conjunction with quaternary amine promoters to accelerate the reaction of the Lindau anhydrides with an epoxy resin.

Lindau Chemicals manufacture BDMA (Benzyldimethylamine), BTEAC (Benzyltriethylammonium Chloride) & BTMAC (Benzyltrimethylammonium Chloride) & 4-MTHPA.

Maldene Co-Polymer is a mixture of Butadiene and Maleic Anhydride, and is an excellent film former in glass fiber sizing.
