Richard Baker Harrison Ltd has announced the acquisition of privately owned Geniechem Ltd and Geniechem (Europe) Ltd, further strengthening the RBH Group’s specialist offering across Europe.

The acquisition adds deep technical expertise in the CASE and advanced composites sectors, complementing RBH’s established portfolio of speciality functional materials, additives, and chemicals supplied to polymer and related industries throughout Europe. Geniechem will operate as an independent member of the RBH Group, retaining its strong market identity while benefiting from RBH’s wider European infrastructure, resources, and product portfolio. The continued involvement of Martin Kaufman underlines the shared commitment of both organisations to long term value creation for customers, principals, and stakeholders.

Expanding Geniechem’s portfolio within a European group

RBH has a long established history of strategic growth and investment across Europe, focused on strengthening technical capability, developing principal partnerships, and supporting customers with responsive and reliable supply solutions.

The integration of Geniechem into the RBH Group represents a key strategic investment, enabling further expansion of product offerings and technical support within high value CASE and composite markets. This acquisition enhances RBH’s ability to serve customers across Europe with a broader portfolio, deeper expertise, and more efficient supply chains.

Leadership perspectives

Martin Kaufman, Owner of Geniechem Ltd and Geniechem (Europe) Ltd, commented:

“We are very excited by RBH’s acquisition and the opportunities it creates to better serve our customers. Becoming part of a wider European group with a shared entrepreneurial mindset allows us to offer an expanded portfolio of materials alongside more efficient and resilient supply chains. I am delighted to be working with a team whose ambitions for the future align closely with our own.”

Martin Cicognani, Managing Director of RBH, added:

“This investment strengthens our European platform and provides a broader foundation for future focused development. Geniechem brings valuable technical expertise and a strong customer base that complements our existing capabilities. We are pleased to welcome Geniechem into the RBH Group and look forward to its immediate contribution to our shared success.”

Building a stronger European RBH Group

The acquisition of Geniechem supports RBH’s continued strategy of building a connected European group of specialist distribution businesses, each focused on technical excellence, customer responsiveness, and long term partnerships.

By combining complementary expertise and portfolios across key markets, the RBH Group continues to evolve as a trusted European partner for speciality materials within CASE, composites, and polymer related industries.
