Website enquiries and commercial contact

When you submit an enquiry via our website, we collect your name, telephone number and email address. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and to provide the information you have requested about our products or services.

We may contact you by email or telephone after your enquiry to follow up, answer questions and ensure we have responded fully. This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and providing accurate information prior to a potential sale.

Your enquiry details are stored securely within our CRM system. We do not use this information to make automated decisions, and we do not sell your data to third parties. Your data may be processed by trusted service providers such as CRM, website hosting or email systems, acting on our instructions and subject to appropriate data protection agreements.

Enquiry records are retained for up to two years from the date of the last interaction. CRM records are retained for up to three years after the last contact. Where required for legal or audit purposes, limited information may be securely archived for up to seven years, after which it is deleted.

Recruitment and job applications

When you apply for a role with us, we process your personal data for recruitment purposes only. This includes information you provide directly, such as your CV, contact details and employment history.

We may also collect personal data from third parties, such as references from former employers. Reference requests will only be made once a conditional job offer has been issued.

Your recruitment data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in assessing suitability for employment and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations.

If your application is unsuccessful, your data will be retained for up to 12 months and then securely deleted. If your application is successful, relevant personal data will be transferred to your personnel file and retained for the duration of your employment in line with our retention policies.

You are not under a statutory or contractual obligation to provide personal data during the recruitment process. However, failure to provide required information may mean we are unable to progress your application.

How we protect your data

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access to personal data is limited to those who need it for legitimate business purposes.
