Product Overview

Calcined alumina is a high-purity aluminium oxide produced through the controlled thermal treatment of alumina hydrate. The calcination process creates a stable alpha-alumina phase with high hardness, excellent thermal stability and strong chemical resistance, making it a widely used performance material in refractory and advanced ceramic systems.

In refractory formulations, calcined alumina contributes to mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and high-temperature durability. Its controlled particle size distribution supports packing density and microstructural development in bricks, castables and monolithic refractories.

Calcined alumina is selected where high purity, thermal stability and consistent performance are required in demanding high-temperature and wear-resistant applications.
