SIVIC® – Nitrile PVC Polyblends

Tailored nitrile rubber modified polyvinyl chloride blends delivering enhanced flexibility, oil resistance, abrasion performance and thermal stability for industrial and elastomeric applications.
Names Nitrile PVC Polyblend|NBR/PVC Elastomer Blend|Styrene Acrylonitrile Modified PVC Blend

Product Overview

Nitrile PVC Polyblends are engineered elastomeric polymer blends combining the oil resistance, abrasion performance and low temperature flexibility of nitrile rubber (NBR) with the chemical resistance, processability and rigidity of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). These blends deliver a balanced set of mechanical and functional properties that are well suited to industrial hose, conveyor belt covers, gaskets and specialist elastomeric components where performance under mechanical stress, oil contact and thermal variation is required.

The blends are supplied in controlled particle size distributions and tailored compositions to match specific performance targets. The NBR component improves resistance to hydrocarbons, flex cracking and dynamic fatigue, while the PVC component enhances dimensional stability, processing ease and thermal resistance. When correctly formulated with plasticisers, impact modifiers and stabilisers these blends can achieve extended service life in demanding applications.

The SIVIC® range, including grades such as SIVIC® N700PX, SIVIC® N530 and SIVIC® N2710PF, represents nitrile PVC polyblend formulations with finely tuned balance between flexibility, toughness and processing behaviour. These grades are designed to support consistent compound mixing, dispersion and end-use performance across elastomer and thermoplastic elastomer systems.
