LUPEROX^® – Organic Peroxides

Organic peroxides are reactive chemical initiators widely used to promote free radical crosslinking and cure reactions in rubber, thermoplastic and composite systems. They decompose under controlled thermal conditions to produce radical species that initiate polymer crosslinking, improve network strength and enhance mechanical and thermal performance of finished products. Depending on formulation and process requirements, peroxides may be used to induce cure in elastomer compounds, crosslink functionalised polyolefins, initiate graft copolymer formation or support curing of unsaturated polyester resins.
