Resicure^® Curing Agents

Resicure® is a range of imidazole based curing agents and accelerators designed to initiate or accelerate the cure of epoxy and thermoset resin systems. The portfolio includes grades such as Resicure® 2-MI, a 2-methylimidazole used both as a sole curing agent and in conjunction with latent hardeners; Resicure® 2-MI-J, a jet milled version with finer particle size for improved dispersion; Resicure® EMI-24 and Resicure® EMI-24 LV, ethyl-methylimidazole derivatives offering rapid reactivity and high glass transition performance with controlled viscosity; and Resicure® 4, a highly reactive imidazole liquid suitable as either a primary curing agent or accelerator in dicyandiamide and anhydride cure systems.

These imidazole based chemistries are used where reliable cure performance, thermal resistance and final network properties are required. Resicure® products can provide enhanced cure speed, improved crosslink density and adhesion performance across adhesives, composite laminates, structural coatings and specialty surface systems.
