Rubber Processing and Performance Additives Rubber processing and performance additives are functional materials used in elastomer compounding to optimise cure kinetics, improve handling, enhance filler rubber interactions and stabilise processing behaviour. These technologies support compound uniformity, dispersion, tack development and final part performance across a wide range of rubber formulations and processing methods. Within the D.O.G. range, additives are selected to address specific challenges in rubber compounding, including dispersion efficiency, viscosity control, flow behaviour and compound stability during mixing, extrusion and moulding. Deovulc BG187V is a vulcanisation additive that supports efficient curing and performance development in rubber compounds. Deotack 70 DL functions as a tackifier and plasticiser supported on a silica carrier, improving green tack, handling and processability during compound preparation. Deostab N acts as a stabiliser to enhance processing stability and compound durability throughout manufacture and service life. To further support dispersion and compound homogeneity, DisperGum processing additives are used to improve mixing efficiency, filler and pigment wetting and uniform distribution of formulation components. DisperGum PT supports enhanced dispersion performance during compounding operations, while DisperGum 36 acts primarily as a dispersant to maintain particle distribution and processing stability. DisperGum 24 combines dispersion and mixing functionality, supporting efficient ingredient integration and improved flow behaviour in compounded rubber systems. Additional dispersion and uniformity benefits can be achieved using Homogenisator 501 D, which is designed to improve filler dispersion and overall compound consistency. Its use supports smoother extrusion and calendering behaviour, contributing to improved surface quality and dimensional control in finished rubber products. Processing behaviour and flow characteristics are further optimised using Deoflow rubber processing aids. These additives reduce internal friction during processing, improve compound movement and support handling during mixing, shaping, extrusion and moulding. Deoflow S supports smoother mixing behaviour, while Deoflow D functions as a flow and processing aid to improve compound workability. Deoflow A provides combined processing and dispersing performance, assisting ingredient integration, and Deoflow 821 delivers balanced processing and flow aid performance for demanding rubber formulations. Deosol HN functions as a processing additive and peptiser, reducing compound viscosity and improving rubber mixing efficiency. Deolink Vinyl is a vinyl functional coupling agent for silica filled rubber compounds, enhancing filler polymer interaction and reinforcement. Deogum 80 acts as a processing binder and plasticiser to improve dispersion, handling and overall compound uniformity. Together, D.O.G. rubber processing and performance additives enable improved compound consistency, wider processing windows and reliable development of final physical properties. These technologies support the manufacture of rubber tyres, seals, hoses and other elastomeric components where consistent processing behaviour and dependable end performance are essential.
