Interim Managing Director
As Interim Managing Director, Brendan is responsible for the strategy within RBH. He is focused on ensuring our team are effective in representing our principals and forming long standing partnerships with our customers.
Brendan finds working in partnership with our customers and then being able to provide various options that improve their formulations or end products very rewarding.
Brendan has worked within the chemical industry for 25 years and during that time has gained a good knowledge of the various markets in which the RBH Group operates.
In his spare time, Brendan enjoys running and has recently taken up golf lessons after playing this sport for many years badly!
Director of Sales & Supply Development
As the Managing Director of GenieChem, Martin joined the RBH team as a Director of Sales & Supply Development with the acquisition of GenieChem in October 2021. With his experience and drive, Martin supports RBH in offering a wider portfolio of materials and more efficient supply chains.
Martin has worked within the chemical industry for 30 years and has gained extensive experience in the composites, thermoplastics, inks and coatings markets. He is always interested in new niche products and nurturing supply chains.
In his spare time, Martin enjoys spinning, cooking and holidaying with his wife at their villa in Spain. While very proud of his two children who are doing well in their chosen careers, Connie the Cavapoo puppy is now ruling the roost.
Peter has had a colourful career spanning almost 50 years. He has a degree in Colour Chemistry from UMIST whilst in his formative years at ICI Colours and Fine Chemicals. A change in business style in 1988 saw his first move into Chemical Distribution and Peter became Owner/Managing Director of Dunwood Polymers in 1993 where he developed strong industry links in water-based Polymer Dispersions and high-quality performance materials to the Coatings and Construction, Adhesives and Sealants, Intumescents, Agrochemicals and Textiles.
Peter has joined RBH as Director of Business Developent following the RBH acquisition of Dunwood Polymers in 2021 to ensure a smooth transition of the acquired business and integration into the RBH Group.
In his spare time Peter keeps busy on his farm in North Yorkshire
Business Administration Manager
Claire joined the company in 2005 as a part time Administrator and has since progressed to become part of the management team. Her role involves managing the internal sales and purchasing teams, as well as quality management and regulatory compliance.
She enjoys problem solving and refining processes to ensure each part of the business runs smoothly.
Technical Development Manager
As a Technical Development Manager, Tom has both technical and commercial experience. He helps support the business strategy, keeping the focus on the customers.
Tom has a degree in Chemistry from the Manchester Metropolitan University and over 10 years of experience within the chemicals and engineering industries.
Outside of work, Tom likes to socialise, go to the gym and watch NFL.
Market Manager – Adhesives and Sealants
As the Market Manager for Composites, Adhesives and Sealants, Martin’s role is to deal with the technical and commercial departments for our customers. He promotes our unique range of materials and services that help provide solutions to the complex challenges faced within the industry.
Martin has a degree in Polymer Science and has worked in the polymer industry for over 25 years. He has worked in both technical and commercial roles, providing a wide range of products for diverse applications. Outside of work, Martin enjoys playing golf, and travelling with his family.
Market Manager – Coatings and Construction
As the Market Manager for Coatings and Construction, Nick is the public face and voice of RBH for our customer base within this industry. One of the main parts of Nick’s role is to support customers with their development and manufacturing requirements.
Nick has a Chemistry degree from Sheffield University, and has worked in sales in the chemicals industry since graduating. Outside of work, Nick enjoys tennis, DIY and Harry Potter.
Internal Account Manager
Yasmin’s role as an Internal Account Manager is to bridge the gap between Market Managers and Market Assistants, aiming to establish better relationships with smaller customers, allowing us to grow existing business. She likes to take a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, having discussions about ideas and sharing knowledge.
Yasmin possesses great knowledge of both the technical and formulation areas, having completed a master’s degree in Chemistry. In her spare time, Yasmin is currently enjoying getting to know Manchester, she also spends time going to the gym and painting.
Internal Account Manager
Will joined RBH in 2021 as an Internal Account Manager. His role is to create and maintain better relationships with our smaller customers and grow our existing business. Will enjoys working in a team, analysing data and speaking to customers to help solve any problems they might have.
Will has a degree in Chemistry from Hull University, and recently moved to Manchester from his hometown of Colchester. Outside of work he enjoys reading, going to the gym to keep fit, and playing strategy board games.
Market Manager – Elastomers
As the Market Manager for Elastomers, Will works with customers in several industries to promote and supply masterbatch and additives for coatings, rubber, composites and plastics. Will has 25 years of experience in the chemicals industry, supporting customers with development in the automotive, aerospace, construction, consumer and industrial sectors.
Will lives in Hampshire with his wife, two children and their two dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active by cycling and playing rugby.
Market Assistant – Coatings
Michelle’s role as a Market Assistant consists of placing orders, arranging deliveries, invoicing, and dealing with customer queries. She enjoys the challenges that come with her job and working quickly to solve problems and keep customers happy.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and drinking pink gin.
Market Assistant Supervisor – Elastomers / Polishing and Abrasives
Denise joined the company in 2010 as a Customer Service Co-ordinator and progressed to Market Assistant Supervisor. Her role is processing customer order, deliveries, invoicing and dealing with any customer enquiries and queries. She offers guidance to other members of her team.
She has recently become a member of a gym and enjoys swimming.
Market Assistant – Speciality
Janet’s role as a Market Assistant consists of placing orders, arranging deliveries, invoicing, and dealing with customer queries. She enjoys the challenges that come with her job and working quickly to solve problems and keep customers happy.
Outside of work, Janet likes spending time at her caravan in Wales and walking her dog Troy.
